Morphology dependence of TiO2 nanotube arrays on anodization variables and buffer medium

Abstract: Vertically oriented TiO2 nanotube arrays were prepared by potentiostatic anodization of Ti foils in HF/acetic acid (HAC) aqueous solution. Anodization variables including anodization electrolyte concentration, anodization voltage, anodization time and buffer medium can be chosen and adjusted to manipulate the nanotube arrays to give the required length and morphology.
