Study on the Automatic Compensation of a Sagnac Loop Filter

Abstract: We present a novel automatic compensation method in which a Sagnac loop filter is fixed to a material with a large thermal expansion constant.Its temperature sensitivity can reach 0.059nm/℃,which is as 0.04 times as that of an uncompensated Sagnac loop filter.This method benefits the practicality of Sagnac loop filters to a certain extent.
