September 2nd, 2019 is the 100th birthday of Prof. Kun Huang, a world-famous physicist and one of the founders of solid state physics and semiconductor physics in China. Journal of Semiconductors publishes this special issue in commemoration of Prof. Kun Huang's Centenary Birthday.
